A very warm welcome to the 2011 season at Great Shelford Tennis Club

This year there will be new junior members' club sessions on Sunday afternoons from 3pm to 5pm, and there is a Big Day with a bbq and bar on June 26th, which is the middle Sunday of Wimbledon.

It was high time the club provided junior club sessions to give younger members similar opportunities to those enjoyed by the adults. Their success will depend on participation. There will always be a coach present and in charge, but it is not coaching. It is simply a chance to meet up for a game and improve. They begin on Sunday April 17th and
will initially run until October 23rd. If juniors make a success of them the club will look at making it happen year-round.

Senior members' sessions continue of course, and we would encourage as many of you as possible to come on Mondays and Saturdays.

Finally, many of the club's teams will be defending county division titles. Good luck to them and all the club sides. They love a bit of support.
