Welcome to the 2010 season. It will be a busy summer on the courts, with a record number of teams representing the club. But social tennis is just as important, so we would love to see as many of you as possible at the club sessions, especially on Monday evenings and Saturday afternoons. I would like to draw your attention to one or two things.
Wimbledon ticket collection....new system
The draw for tickets will be the same as last year, at the clubhouse on Saturday May 1st at 4pm when you can choose & pay for the tickets if your name comes up. But new this year; they will be handed out at the clubhouse between
2-5pm on Saturday June 5th.
Monday club sessions
As Wednesday club sessions are getting so popular, there will also be a coach present on Monday evenings from 7-9 pm for five sessions from June 7th.
GSTC Big Day
On June 27th, the middle Sunday in Wimbledon, the club will host a special event, including a chance to play a game against a tournament professional. It's a fundraiser for the club, there will be food & drink, and it's guaranteed to be a splendid day.
