He has been a member of Great Shelford Tennis Club since he was a teenager and is now the Club Head Coach. He primarily runs our adult coaching programme.
Matt has a special interest in women's tennis and his dedication to this shows in the strength and breadth of our women's teams.

Will Ingle plays a huge role in our junior coaching. On court he loves to motivate and encourage players of all ages and all abilities to do their best.
He is enthusiastic, approachable and believes that exercise is not only essential for a healthy body but also for a healthy mind, to build self-discipline and self-belief.
Away from the court he loves supporting his beloved Reds and is an all round sports enthusiast!
Will is a team player with good communication skills and is reliable, calm and endlessly patient.

Ashley Powter, nicknamed ‘the human ball machine’ started playing tennis when he was 4 years old with us at Great Shelford Tennis Club. Having been coached by Over&In through to his late teens, Ashley literally has been brought up seeing first hand how to coach.
Having expressed an interest in being a tennis coach, Over&In offered Ashley a first ever apprenticeship opportunity where he has absolutely thrived.
Like all our coaches, Ashley plays in a number of summer and winter league matches for our teams. In 2024, we saw him win the prestigious Men’s Singles Tournament at Great Shelford Tennis Club.
